#VIP: Mapping The Most Expensive Boston Homes Sold in 2015

Picking up where 2015 left off, this year is off to an unprecedented start in Boston real estate, with this week’s big news that the “grand penthouse” at the Millennium Tower went under agreement for a record-breaking $37.5 million. The previous record was set in October of last year, when 300 Boylston #1005-1006 sold for $15.4 million. From multi-million dollar lofts on bustling Newbury Street and Commonwealth Avenue to tranquil penthouses overlooking the city, Boston’s luxury real estate market has reached new heights over the past few years. All of the residences on this list sold for a minimum of $5 million (and, what do you know, almost of all them were in the Back Bay!).
