Not only are homes still selling in Massachusetts, but they’re going faster than in the last few months according to a new report in Banker & Tradesman. The news is good after the dry spell that fell after the recession . For the third month in a row, more single-family homes are selling throughout the state. The figures are 7% ahead of what they were the same month last, and an overall 10% hike in the third quarter.
Prices are still low in comparison to last years. Only a .5% increase was found between the home sales. The report also found that while loft sales decreased a tad, their values have increased 4-6%.
